Guru Ram Kaur Guru Ram Kaur has been described by many as a wise, compassionate and inspiring teacher and healer with a ready sense of humour and down to earth approach. She is the founder and director of the Sohan Jalaiai Centre which was completed in June 2000, fulfilling her vision of creating a beautiful, tranquil and sacred space for teaching and healing. She has been teaching classes and workshops continuously for 21 years, to diverse groups of people from all walks of life. She is a British Wheel of Yoga recognised Tutor and has taught Kundalini Yoga at BWY Annual Congress as well as the London Festivals.

Guru Ram Kaur teaches Kundalini Yoga with strict emphasis on posture and alignment. Her extensive knowledge of functional anatomy, and experience as a Pelvic Correction practitioner, bring an added dimension to her teaching. She has many years' experience of working with individuals suffering from back pain and various mobility/structural problems. While understanding that true healing goes beyond the physical, she recognises the wondrous capacity of the body to heal itself, given the right stimulae (this being borne out by her own direct experience and that of her clients).

KRI certified teacher and tutor, previously Secretary, Treasurer and Chair of the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (and instrumental in its formation). Professional member of the International KY Teachers Association, and member of the KYTA UK Advisory Board. Qualified Pelvic Correction practitioner.

Before turning to teaching and treating, Guru Ram Kaur had a successful business career, at senior levels, working in the USA, mainland Europe and finally running her own companies in the UK. As such she is well acquainted with the challenges of manifesting spiritual values in the workplace.
